Re-Archive

I launched this platform in 2019 to empower change makers in the fashion industry. Using Figma and Webflow, I designed and developed a website that showcases the equal importance of fashion's impact on both people and the planet. My aim was to create a community-driven space where individuals can freely connect and speak out.

In 2019, I launched Re-Archive to empower change makers in the fashion industry. With a deep passion for sustainability and inclusivity, I took the lead in designing and developing this platform using Figma and Webflow. The goal was to create a digital space that reflected the equal importance of fashion’s impact on people and the planet, while fostering a community-driven space for open conversation.

I aimed to blend the gravitas of traditional journalism with modern web design. The platform features clean, column-based layouts, large text, and impactful imagery to deliver content that is both visually engaging and easy to navigate. This design approach allows for a seamless integration of in-depth articles and powerful photography, presenting complex issues in a way that is accessible and thought-provoking.

Re-Archive's design structure was intentionally crafted to echo the feel of an online newspaper, with bold headlines and well-organized columns, creating an intuitive user experience. Each design choice was carefully made to ensure that the message of sustainability, ethical supply chains, and corporate diversity was front and center, clearly communicated through both text and imagery.

Beyond design, we actively engaged with our community by capturing real stories through photography, conducting interviews, and sharing them across the platform and social media. The Re-Archive platform uses compelling visuals and thoughtful storytelling to make the issues surrounding fashion more relatable and actionable, particularly on platforms like Instagram.
