In 2023, I launched Womenu, an online vintage and secondhand store that channels the minimalist elegance of 90s fashion into a contemporary shopping experience. I oversaw every aspect of the brand’s creation, from designing the identity and art direction to developing the digital design, packaging, and photography, all with a focus on clean, understated aesthetics.
The website was crafted using Figma and built on Shopify to ensure a seamless user experience. The design is anchored by a sleek, monochromatic palette, accented with a distinctive pop of blue that highlights the "W" in our logo, symbolising Womenu’s authenticity and attention to detail. This subtle touch of colour adds a modern twist to our otherwise minimalist approach.
Typography plays a key role in the brand’s visual identity, with two variations of the Acumin Pro font—Condensed for headlines and Regular for body text. This combination creates a clear and cohesive hierarchy, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to simplicity and elegance.
Our packaging continues this minimalist theme, featuring black-and-white branding that is both sophisticated and sustainable. Each item is carefully wrapped in refined packaging, designed to enhance the unboxing experience while being mindful of the environment.
The art direction and photography are intentionally minimal, focusing on composition, lighting, and the natural beauty of each garment. This approach allows the unique character of our vintage pieces to stand out, creating a visual narrative that is both timeless and modern.
