The Road to Now

Welcome. I’m Nadine Banks, and I craft digital experiences that tell stories, connect people, and bring brands to life online. Looking back, my career has been a mix of fast-paced learning, collaboration, and chasing the details that make work feel meaningful.

I kicked things off in Auckland as Head of Design and Photography at Onceit. It was a whirlwind of a role that taught me to think fast and act faster. Some days I photographed 100 products and designed over eight campaign visuals by noon the next day. It was hectic, intense, and ridiculously fun, and it taught me how to keep creativity sharp under pressure.

Then came London and Neighbour Design, where I led digital design for a brilliant, tight-knit team. I also got to cross over into retail design for clients like PUMA and Triumph Lingerie. Balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on design work showed me how digital and physical experiences can dance together and that collaboration is where the magic happens.

"Hectic, intense, and ridiculously fun. That’s where creativity thrives."

I’ve also had the pleasure of collaborating directly with purpose-led brands like Triumph on their 130 Years project and Haveli, a sustainable clothing brand from Jamaica. Helping these brands tell bold, meaningful stories online is exactly the kind of work that keeps me excited about design.

Now I’m based in Melbourne, still obsessed with great storytelling, clean design, and sustainability. Every project is a chance to mix strategy with creativity, experiment a little, and maybe even make people smile along the way. I’m here to push ideas, shape experiences, and have fun doing it, because at the end of the day, that’s what makes design come alive.
